Pour des raisons \u00e9conomiques, les silices irr\u00e9guli\u00e8res sont encore tr\u00e8s utilis\u00e9es dans la purification industrielle.<\/p><h2><strong>Taille des pores<\/strong><\/h2><p>La taille courante des pores de la silice poreuse est de 100A, 120A, 300A. Certains fournisseurs proposent \u00e9galement de la silice de 80A, 200A ou m\u00eame 450A. Le choix de la taille des pores est bas\u00e9 sur la taille des \u00e9chantillons cibles. L'analyse traditionnelle des petites mol\u00e9cules utilise des p\u00f4les de 100A\/120A. L'analyse des grosses mol\u00e9cules utilise des p\u00f4les de 300A. Pour des \u00e9chantillons particuliers, le choix des pores de la silice est fonction de la taille des mol\u00e9cules.<\/p><h2>Autres caract\u00e9ristiques physiques<\/h2><p>Les caract\u00e9ristiques physiques des particules de silice les plus r\u00e9centes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9es de plusieurs mani\u00e8res. Toutefois, nombre d'entre elles ne sont pas facilement disponibles car elles sont principalement utilis\u00e9es comme mat\u00e9riau de base pour la fabrication de nouvelles silices en phase invers\u00e9e.<\/p><ul><li>Activit\u00e9 de surface<\/li><\/ul><p>On observe un niveau plus faible de groupes silanols ind\u00e9sirables, libres et isol\u00e9s.
